A Jaguar F-Type SVR has performed 43 overtakes in one busy lap of the Nurburgring circuit.

Known as a ‘race taxi‘, the $309,500 super sports car was co-piloted by a lucky German passenger, with Dale Lomas of Nurburgring blog/YouTube channel Bridge to Gantry fame behind the wheel.

For anyone who hasn’t driven the ‘Ring before, using indicators to state your move when overtaking is a must – and this Jaguar should’ve had them permanently on.

Some of the cars the driver overtook included a Renault Clio, a limousine, Suzuki Swifts, stacks of BMWs, Porsche 911s, Toyota 86, Renault Megane, Honda Civic and even a Volkswagen Up!

Within the first two-minutes, 20 vehicles were overtaken, including a motorcyclist who didn’t realise an Audi TT and Chevrolet Corvette were right behind them.

“That motorcyclist is not checking his mirrors – scary!”, the driver can be heard saying in the video.

Reaching the top speed of the lap at 250km/h, Lomas couldn’t believe the amount of traffic.

“It’s like the Autobahn of Munich, but who needs skill if you have 600hp (447kW) under your foot”.

And he was right, mostly. With the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine producing 423kW (not 447) of power and 700Nm of torque, it was hard for the car to really approach its 322km/h top speed, but it was still an amazing sight.
